Descrizione: "FRANCES' DAY. London celebrates 14th of July by wearing the tricolour in honour of her glorious ally." British Army officers stand in busy street with girls sporting bonnets and dresses decorated in French tricolour designs. Girls are collecting charitable donations; one young girl next to a young boy drummer in French costume holds a "Help France" leaflet as she attaches a badge to a soldier's uniform.
